(Skippin' rocks on Lake Erie)Yesterday, May 26, 2008, was Elaine's and my first anniversary. This last year has been a real challenge as two unique, independent people began to submit to one another and practice a Godly marriage. Sometimes were wonderful. Sometimes were awful. But in the end we are so thankful for one another. I love my wife more now than ever.
For our anniversary we went to Ontario, Canada and spent some time in the Pelee National Park riding mountain bikes and paddling a canoe. It was a great getaway from the city and a nice preparatory act to gain more excitement about our upcoming adventure in Alaska.
