Who We Are

We have been called to be missionaries and are currently on Home Assignment/Partnership Development in Burleson, TX. We are missionaries with Cadence International and just finished up our first assignment together serving the Soldiers and Airmen of Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER) near Anchorage, AK.
Our Journey
After a year of knowing one another we were married May 26, 2007. In May 2008 we both graduated with our Bachelor's Degrees: Elaine from Moody Bible Institute with a degree in Family Ministries and Wes from Liberty University with a Bible degree. After much consideration from headquarters, an internship under a veteran Cadence couple was the best way to start as a young married couple. Our year long internship was working in support of the the Mountain Chapel Hospitality House run by Dan and Barbra Evans.

At the end of our year we accepted an assignment back to England. In preparation for the big move we received  shocking news that Barb Evans had been diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. We agreed to stay and continue ministry in Alaska during this heartbreaking season. Barb passed away on March 7, 2011.
Cadence made some long term changes in Alaska to support Dan and his children we were released to a Home Assignment in September 2011. This basically means we are resting from a hard three years, we will meet with friends and family to raise more financial support, and prepare our hearts as we head back into the mission field.
We deeply desire to see the dark and lonely lives of unsaved servicemen brightened by loving hospitality, family and fellowship of believers.
